This outing was spent almost in our own backyard at Firestone Scout Reservation in Brea where they offer rifle and shotgun ranges staffed by NRA-certified volunteers. Welcome to Troop 97's web site. Troop 97 has approximately 30 Scouts and has earned the Quality Unit Award, Boys Life 100% and the Founders Award. The Troop has earned several awards from the Los Amigos District. Those awards include the District Award of Merit, Scoutmaster of the Year, Assistant Scoutmaster of the Year and many Extra Mile Awards.

In September 2013 the Troop celebrated its 50th anniversary. Since 1963, the Troop has graduated 123 Eagle Scouts.

We encourage all boys 11-17 years of age (no scouting experience necessary) and all Webelos Scouts to attend any of our Troop meetings to see what we do. We are located at Morningside Presbyterian Church on the corner of Raymond and Dorothy Lane in Fullerton. When you arrive, go to Fellowship Hall which is located near the Center Court. Our Troop meetings start at 7pm and end at 8:30pm every Tuesday. Webelos Scouts who are visiting will be assigned to a patrol for the duration of the meeting.
